On Thursday, September 21, 2017 the talk “Giving waste a new life: environmental criteria for decision-making” was held, with Dr. Maria Margallo as lecturer who is a professor in the department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University. of Cantabria of Spain.
The visit of Professor Margallo is part of an agreement between the PUCP and the University of Cantabria within the framework of the project “Advancing and measuring consumption and sustainable production for a low carbon economy in middle-income economies and new industrialized countries” ( Advance SCP). The stay of Professor Margallo lasts one month. In addition, in the months of January and February 2018 will be making another stay at our university.
The project has as participants the PUCP and the UN Environment, the latter being the financing entity. In this sense, the Peruvian Life Cycle Network is responsible for carrying out its development.
