Conference Organizers LCA of Foods 2022

The scientific committee of “LCA of Foods” confirmed that our university will organize in October 2022 the thirteenth edition of this prestigious congress.

“LCA of Foods” is a conference that has been held every two years since 1998, in order to bring together the main specialists in the application and development of life cycle methodologies, such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), The Carbon Footprint or the Water Footprint to the agri-food sector. At its latest edition, held in Dublin in October 2016, it brought together more than 200 LCA specialists from around the world. Now the “LCA of Foods” will have its next stops in Thailand in 2018 and Germany in 2020, to be later organized in the PUCP. The organization of the congress will be led by Professors Ian Vazquez, Ramzy Kahhat and Isabel Quispe, all of them from the research group of the Peruvian Network Life Cycle of the Engineering Department of PUCP.
