Nos complace anunciar la preparación de un libro que reúne las intervenciones de los participantes del Taller fenomenológico interamericano del 2018, que se realizó en Lima, en la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, con el auspicio del Center for Advanced Research in Phenomenology (CARP). El evento tuvo por título Métodos y problemas: perspectivas e investigaciones fenomenológicas actuales, y el libro –cuyo título final se está aún considerando– se compone de 22 textos, en español e inglés, de fenomenólogos de distintas partes del mundo que participaron del evento. En estos, se abordan diversos temas, como las emociones, la vulnerabilidad, los sueños, las adicciones, el método de la reflexión fenomenológica, la violencia, el cuerpo, la ética, educación, lo social, el tiempo, entre otros. El libro será publicado a finales de año en versión digital.

Announcement of Book (Workshop 2018)

We are glad to announce the current edition of a book that compiles the presentations of the attendees to the 2018 Interamerican Phenomenological Workshop that took place in Lima, at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, with the support of the Center for Advanced Research in Phenomenology (CARP). The meeting dealt with the topic Methods and Problems: Current Phenomenological Perspectives and Research. The book–the final title of which is still being considered–contains 22 contributions, in Spanish and English, of phenomenologists from different parts of the world. These texts deal with manifold topics, such as emotions, vulnerability, dreams, addictions, the method of phenomenological reflection, violence, embodiment, ethics, education, the social, temporality, among others. The book will be published online by the end of 2020.
