El t\u00edtulo de documento es: \u201cAn\u00e1lisis de Situaci\u00f3n de Salud del Pueblo Nahua de Santa Rosa de Serjali en la Reserva Territorial Kugapakori Nahua Nanti y Otros\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Guardian da cuenta que la etnia\u00a0<strong>Nahua\u00a0<\/strong>era una comunidad ind\u00edgena no contactada hasta mediados de 1980. Tras el primer contacto, la mitad de su poblaci\u00f3n muri\u00f3 a causa de diversas enfermedades hasta quedar unos 500 habitantes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">En el 2014, una madre lleg\u00f3 a Lima junto a su beb\u00e9 de seis meses para tratar la neumon\u00eda del menor. La mujer y su hijo fueron diagnosticados con contaminaci\u00f3n por mercurio, adem\u00e1s de la neumon\u00eda severa de la criatura.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">La publicaci\u00f3n narra que profesionales de la salud \u201ctomaron m\u00e1s de 150 muestras de orina, el 41% de la poblaci\u00f3n nahua: el 78% conten\u00eda altos niveles de mercurio\u201d en los integrantes de la etnia Nahua.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">El medio brit\u00e1nico indica que la ingesta de pescado o extracci\u00f3n de oro cercana fueron descartados como posibles causas de la presencia de mercurio en la sangre de los nahuas. Resalta que no se consigui\u00f3 mayor informaci\u00f3n respecto al gas de\u00a0<strong>Camisea<\/strong>.
