The Life Cycle Assessment is a management tool useful for proposing of environmental strategies aligned with each type of business in order to create value for the company. The LCA establish the interactions of product and / or services to the environment, contributing to understand the environmental consequences.

LCA considers the environmental impacts under different impact categories such as: human health, ecosystem’s quality, exploitation of resources, among others. These categories depend on the impact assessment methodology to be employed.
