Course Workshop Life Cycle Assessment 2017

Through the financing agreement signed between the United Nations Environment Program (UN Environment Program) in coordination with the Ministry of the Environment (MINAM) and the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP), as implementing partner, the agreement was signed UN-Environment cooperation to the Project “Advancing and measuring sustainable consumption and production for a low-carbon economy in middle-income economies and new industrialized countries” in Peru.

Within this framework and under the coordination of the MSc. Isabel Quispe developed the Course – Life Cycle Assessment Workshop having as exhibitors the associate professors of PUCP PhD. Ramzy Kahhat, PhD. Ian Vázquez and MSc. Isabel Quispe. These sessions were held on Tuesday and Thursday from February 21 to March 14, 2017.

The aim of the Course – Life Cycle Assessment Workshop was to present the methodology, application and benefits of the ACV tool for decision making on production, consumption, impacts, policies and management strategies, as well as for continuous improvement Of institutions. In addition, it will allow participants to analyze their processes under the life cycle approach.

It was aimed at Managers, technical personnel and entrepreneurs related to the care of the environment in the different operational and management processes of the energy, water, environment, natural resources, among others sectors.
